Our Company comes to you, and we provide the following services for you. We have beat competitor prices and times, with our dedicated employees and timing availability. With Horizon Shine, cleaning your fleet you can choose from monthly occurring contracts to general call ins.
Below is a detailed layout of our process we use to get the job(s) done.
1. Remove the Trash – Getting the trash and other debris out is the first step in your interior cleaning. Remove all loose debris from your semi, such as food wrappers, water bottles, receipts and yesterday’s newspaper. Get behind and under the truck seats.
2. Vacuum the Interior - this includes the floor and seats but is not limited to just those areas. We are aware that the interior of rigs vary these days.
3. Clean the Seats – Will be wiped off and dried each time. Deep cleaning is also provided. If you have cloth seats in your truck, they will require shampooing . Leather seats can be steamed . This is recommended two to four times per year to keep your truck clean and healthy and may come at an extra charge.
4. Clean the Sleeper Area – Remove the bedding and vacuum the sleeper area. Wipe down any hard surfaces with a cleaner.
5. Clean the Dashboard – Dashboards get dirty from dust., smoke and grime. After the area is clean, we apply our Leather and Vinyl protectant. This product cleans, restores and protects. It is great for the dash on your truck because it contains a UV protectant which helps to reduce fading and cracking.
6. Wash the Truck Ceiling – we cover the often forgotten ceiling. You may not always look up, but this large surface of a semi collects dust, road dirt and other contaminants as your truck rolls down the road.
7. Wash the Steering Wheel and Gear Shifter of your Truck – This is a high-touch area of your truck. These areas will be cleaned and sanitized.
8. Clean the Floor Mats – Your shoes/boots will naturally bring dirt into your semi floor as you work on jobs. Safe driving conditions can be improved if you keep clean driver mats.
9. Identify and Remove Stains – One of the best tips for prolonging the life and beauty of the inside. We can offer to remove stains in your rig as quickly as we identify them; this may come at an extra charge.
10. Clean the Door Panels – As a driver, your shoes will mark up your truck’s interior. Most scuff marks on the passenger and driver sides can be easily removed.
11. Clean the Glass (INTERIOR ONLY)– The glass in your semi is your truck’s gateway to the road. Driving your semi truck into the sunset without a window wash can be dangerous.
12. Wash the Storage Compartments – Many truck drivers have multiple storage areas in their truck interior. These obviously add convenience and functionality, but they can harbor dirt and germs and get overlooked easily.(we get it)
You may realize the importance of regular cab cleanings. Removing the trash and surface cleaning can be a routine for many truckers. What many companies may not realize is that a cab steam cleaning job two to four times per year can provide many benefits towards a clean and healthy interior.
Steam will penetrate the areas that are hard to get to. Stains between the seats and around the driver's space are easily removed. Dust and dirt can accumulate in your air vents. Steam can be used to clean the vents so your cabin has cleaner and fresher air. Steam will penetrate the pores of leather and vinyl surfaces so they take on a new shine in your truck cabin.
Steam disinfects as it covers and evenly spreads through the interior of your truck. The sleeper, under the seats, the steering wheel, dashboard, between the seats and floor mats are just a few areas that bacteria and other harmful elements can build up in a semi truck. The high-temperature steam will kill and eliminate these potentially harmful elements while bringing that fresh smell back to your semi.
You will not be disappointed when you incorporate a professional Cleaning team to your already busy fleet of drivers. As trucks travel down the road, the interior takes wear and tear just like the exterior does. Cleaning and maintaining the interior of your semi is key. You will be able to appreciate the cleanliness of the interior of your truck. Regardless how many miles you put on your truck per year, having the interior of your truck professionally detailed will provide great driving conditions for you as well as a healthy work environment.
